Potassium Azeloycinate Diglycinate(CAS 477773-67-4)

Potassium Azeloycinate Diglycinate is a new type of amino acid modified azelaic acid derivative, which is prepared by complexing azelaic acid with glycine and neutralizing with potassium salt. Compared with conventional raw azelaic acid, it completely breaks the bottleneck of poor water solubility of original azelaic acid, abandoning traditional alcohol co-solvent assistance. This modified derivative retains all core skincare efficacy of azelaic acid, meanwhile greatly reduces acidity and skin irritation. It features neutral pH value, no skin peeling, no photosensitivity, no stinging feeling on damaged barrier skin. It is compatible with all water-based cosmetic formulas, will not cause formula delamination or crystallization. It is a mainstream mild non-exfoliating anti-acne and brightening raw material replacing traditional azelaic acid, perfectly suitable for sensitive skin anti-acne and long-term daily oil control skincare products.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) & Document Request Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) & Document Request

Q1: Will this raw material affect the transparency of transparent water-based formulas?

A: No. The product is colorless transparent liquid with excellent water solubility. It will not cause turbidity, flocculation or precipitation when added into transparent essence, toner and clear lotion, keeping finished products highly transparent without damaging formula appearance.

Q2: Can it be compounded with salicylic acid for combined anti-acne effect?

A: Compatible for compound use. Salicylic acid dissolves grease and unclogs pores physically, while this azelaic acid derivative inhibits bacteria and inflammation internally. The combination realizes dual inside-out anti-acne effect. It is recommended to control total acid pH above 4.5 to avoid excessive irritation.

Q3: Does daytime addition need to match sunscreen?

A: Extra sunscreen is not required. Different from AHA and BHA acid ingredients, Potassium Azeloycinate Diglycinate has no photosensitivity, will not reduce skin light tolerance, and can be safely added into daytime skincare formulas alone or in compound formulas.

Q4: Why choose glycine modified azelaic acid salt instead of common azelaic acid potassium salt?

A: Glycine amino acid modification further optimizes skin affinity, reduces residual bitter taste of common azelaic acid potassium salt, improves skin moisturizing effect while anti-acne, and avoids skin dryness after long-term use; meanwhile, it has better long-term storage stability and is not easy to turn yellow.
