A: Total centella asiatica extract is a mixture of three active monomers (asiaticoside, madecassoside, asiatic acid) with unstable content ratio; single high-purity asiaticoside has fixed component content, stable formula efficacy, less impurities, no color pollution to finished products, and more suitable for high-end transparent essence and colorless repair skincare products.
Q2: How to solve the poor water solubility problem of asiaticoside during production?
A: Asiaticoside is slightly soluble in pure water. We recommend pre-dissolving it with 10%-20% glycerin or propylene glycol first, then adding into water phase; heating below 60℃ can properly improve dissolution rate. Do not add powder directly into pure water to avoid undissolved precipitation.
Q3: Will asiaticoside cause formula discoloration in long-term storage?
